Getting your business online
Northstead Enterprises is pleased to assist small to medium sized businesses and associations to promote themselves on the internet by providing simple, affordable websites usually comprising of just a few pages.
The standard rented website is one page which is adequate for minimal content and your contact details although some businesses will want considerably more pages. You can always start with one or two pages and increase if necessary. The pricing structure is very simple and is designed to ensure that you know exactly how much your site will cost. As an added bonus, you won’t have to pay anything until your site is live online.
I'll need you to supply some content -
- The text you want included or some ideas for me to work with.
- Any pictures and logos you want displaying (either as photos, electronic files or from your existing stationery).
I will then -
- Design your website and upload it to the internet for you to check.
- Make any changes you may want.
- Register a domain name ending in .co.uk for your business or association.
- Upload your completed website to your domain name.
- Submit it to search engines.
- Keep the site live online using a third party hosting service for as long as the lease is in force.
You will need to -
- Submit details of your website to as many online directories as possible.
- Include your domain name in any advertising (newspapers, Yellow Pages etc.).
- Include your domain name on your stationery next time you order.
- Tell as many people as possible about your site.
As you can see, this is a joint effort with both sides working together to ensure a successful result. This joint effort will continue when your site is live and your customers are using it. It's important to keep the site fresh and include new content whenever possible and changes are included in the lease.
